Do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Matthew 10:19-20
The fire alarm just went off… you have 60 seconds… what will you take? 1, 2…
Take this: Ever worry you won’t remember something you need to say… or you will, but the words will come out all wrong? Well, remember to remind. What? Remember to remind! Get into the Word – for the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword. Hebrews 4:12 Not only is it your most powerful weapon against your biggest enemy (his lies can’t stand a chance against the Truth) but it is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim. 3:17- THOROUGHLY equipped! And you don’t have to worry about remembering all on your own, when you read the Word you speak the language of the Holy Spirit within you and He awakens and “will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26- Moses thought the same thing about getting his words all jumbled up but God said I AM with you and in Matthew 10:19 He says, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking , but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. – So like Nehemiah in chapter 1:8 of his book in the bible you will be able to remember His truths and promises by the power of the Holy Spirit and pray. Reminding God of His faithful promises, not that He needs reminding, but it will grow in us courage and strength taking up confidence in the One who is in you, rather than in ourselves, because He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
59, 60. GO! (and go BOLDLY!)
