The fire alarm has just been pulled… you have 60 seconds… what do you take? 1, 2..

Take this: Our God is jealous for you with a Godly jealousy. A Godly jealousy is one in which you are loved so very much that anything that would pull you away from the One best thing for you hurts God’s heart. In Exodus 34:15-16 God warns His people to “be careful” not to make treaties with those who were already in the land He would clear out for them. He warned them “they will invite” but to be on guard for the temptation that will come to assimilate into the enemies culture and to intermarry. He warns them that to inter marring with those who do not believe in Him “will lead your sons to do the same.” The same warnings apply to us… be on your guard… So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 1 Cor. 10:12 That is addressed to those who think they are standing firm and it has an exclamation point on the end of that verse. We are all one decision away from falling. Guard your heart with the friends that you choose and the people you date/marry. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Cor. 6:14 Now if we have made unwise choices in the past we need to know God is bigger than our mistakes and He has a way of making a way when we see no way because He is the Way however how much easier when we choose to heed the warnings of our God who loves us deeply and unconditionally with a Godly jealous kind of love.
