..When all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.  Leviticus 9:24

The fire alarm has just been pulled… you have 60 seconds… what do you take? 1, 2..

Take this: The Israelites had presented their sacrifices to the Lord and Lev. 9:24 says fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the sacrifices which gave the people great joy and what is the first thing they do after shouting for joy…. fall facedown before their God in worship. Our God is one and the same God. How often when we have great joy and success in life do we immediately before anything else look to the One whom credit is ultimately due and worship? In failures it seems everyone can find someone to point a finger at or place the blame on.. even God or the woodwork if need be. Why is it different in success? Me, myself, and I promotion would be my first suggestions. We are ALL on this earth for one purpose, to glorify HIS Name, to promote HIS Book, to be a reflection of HIS success in finding use for our lumps of clay made from dust! Jesus, in the event we should meet with success today help us to remember Who that it’s ultimately from and to remember and be thankful for everyone who helped us get there even if it was an unkind word or hard circumstance that made us buck up and be the change we wanted to see… Let us not be a people like it says in Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.  Pride comes before the fall (Prov. 16:18) Help us to look up each time we meet with success and fall facedown before the One who is due our worship with thankful hearts.

59, 60. GO!
