The fire alarm has been pulled… you have 60 seconds… what do you take? 1,2…

Take this: Some great advice my dad has always given me whether it was regarding math homework or life issues, he says, “Go back to what you know.” I’ve found this to be helpful all through life. When you get lost or confused sometimes you just have to take yourself as far back as you need to, to when things did make sense, back to something you can stand firm on. John 3:16 is one of those Truths you can always go back to and stand firm on. Choose to see whatever situation you are going through with the backdrop of the cross. You know you are loved and that God is good, so good and He loves you so much He gave His life so that this world would not be your end! Sometimes we feel like Moses -who am I that I should go and do this work for you Lord (Ex.3:4) or like Isaiah – woe to me! I’m ruined, I’m a sinner! (Is. 6:5) or Peter in Luke 5:8 you want to tell God to go away because you are so unworthy. – Haven’t we all at one time or another felt like this?! 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore under Gods mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. – He cares for you! We may not know the whys and hows of our situations but we can go back to what we DO know. You are loved unconditionally with out limit and just maybe He is using the unkown in your situation to reveal more of who He wants to be to you that you never had the chance to discover before!

59, 60. GO!
