Sometimes I need to insert my name in place of Lazarus… Janette, break out, wake up, go for it believe He is bigger! Bigger than what you see and understand, take up true faith! Do you ever think that in John 11:35 Jesus wept. – Maybe it was partly because we so often believe Him for less than He is and that breaks His heart because He loves us so much. 1 Cor. 2:9 says, What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived — the things God has prepared for those who love him– I need to have faith that God can be trusted with great tasks. “For certainly one who serves a King should expect a King’s supply as long as he operates under a King’s command. Our King often chooses to supply us daily, momentarily, rather than to supply our needs in a long-range fashion. For the daily need is what keeps our focus of direction and faith upon Him and His orders.” And there are no little tasks when handed you by the King of kings and Lord of lords! He never makes just good enough and never does things just good enough, and what He calls you to do He will supply and enable you to accomplish in a top quality way! How did Laz know how to get out of the tomb?! He followed the light…listened to His voice. I need only to keep my eyes on the Light. John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” I need to listen to His voice. (John 10:27) Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. – Be strong and courageous… that’s in the small stuff and the not so small huge stuff. I pray not to let the enemy keep me in the cave of ineffectiveness for any reason but to take God up on all the promises He speaks over me…I belong to the Lord (Isaiah 44:5). A child of the King (Gal. 3:26)! There are people, possibly other Lazarus’ that need to be called out of the cave in love… a love He wants to pour out through me! “If you love God, your love for your fellow Christians will be obvious… OBVIOUS. I will be patient and kind. I will not be envious, boastful, proud, rude, self seeking, or easily angered. I will not hold grudges. I will rejoice in the truth and righteousness, not in evil. I will protect and trust my Christian brothers and sisters. I will hope for the best in others, and I will persevere in Your love. This God like love grows from an intimate love relationship with God.” In John 13:35 Jesus said, “By this all men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” So I pray to be able to take hold of that which He took hold of me and allow His love to pour out of my heart in His strength, to be confident of Him in me and for goodness sake get up and out of the cave of self! Take up my cross and follow Him!! 1 Tim. 6:19-20 In this same way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. Timothy (Janette) guard what has been entrusted to your care. – Get out and live for Him! Phil. 4:13 You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
”Isn’t life glorious! Isn’t it grand! Here -take it-hold it tight in your hand! Squeeze every drop of it into your soul, drink of the joys of it, sun-sweet and whole! Laugh with the love of it, burst into song! Scatter it’s richness as you stride along! Isn’t life splendid and isn’t it great? You can always start living- it’s never too late!”
