Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever! Deuteronomy 5:29
The fire alarm has just been pulled… you have 60 seconds… what do you take? 1, 2…
Take this: Remember that you were slaves… Deut. 5:15 Without Jesus we were all slaves to sin and death (Rom. 6:16,20-21). He came to set us free to truly live! Not only here on earth but to live eternally for those who would believe the Truth of who He is… the Savior of the world (John 3:16)! He sacrificed Himself taking the punishment for our sin, a debt we owed but could not pay. He paid it fully and then rose again!! Victory is His! He will come back one day once and for all and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord! (Phil. 2:10-11) So let Deut 5:29 be a passionate prayer of our hearts for all as well as ourselves!
Jesus make my/our heart(s) inclined to reverently fear You and long to obey You always!
59, 60. GO!
