Fire Alarm Pull With God – 40

The fire alarm has just been pulled… you have 60 seconds… what do you take? 1, 2…

Take this: God’s timing is best.

Joshua 4:18 And the priests came up out of the river carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD. No sooner had they set their feet on the dry ground than the water of the Jordan returned to their place and ran at flood stage as before. See the words NO SOONER? God knew the exact time to bring the waters rushing back, not one person was unaccounted for… he waited till all feet had crossed – NO SOONER.

Joshua 5:1-2 Israels enemies had heard about the parting of the Jordan and no longer had the courage to face them. At that time the Lord said to Joshua… its time to circumcise those not yet circumcised. They were then able to remain where they were camped until they were healed (5:8). See the words AT THAT TIME? God had subdued the enemy allowing the Israelites time to heal from the necessary procedure. He thought of ALL the details and made perfect timing possible.

Joshua 5:12 The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan. The words THE DAY AFTER stand out… Not before, but at the perfect time the Israelites would have another food resource is when the manna was stopped. And God never missed a day in the wilderness… not one! He wasn’t too busy with the rest of the world to remember breakfast for these people – EVERY day!

Remember He remembers you too and that in your “day after, at that time, and no sooner” He will faithfully show up in perfect time.

59, 60. GO!
