Come Back Stonger

“Do not be afraid,” Samuel replied. “You have done all this evil; yet do not turn away from the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart. 1 Samuel 12:20

I love the “yet” in the above Scripture! Verse 22 just following says, For the sake of his great name the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own. I don’t know about you but I find this so humbling and filled with living hope!! Now matter what we have done God still wants us!! Do not let the devils lies drown out the Truth of Jesus Who died to set you free!

I’ve heard it stated the Good News is not that He saves you from your trials, but the Good News is that He forgives your sin and saves your soul!!!! God can use any trial or past sin if you give it over to Him and somehow in a way only He can do, He can use if for good, for His glory and the saving of many souls!! So keep on, don’t give up, every day is a fresh start! Verse 24 says, But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.

Jesus told Peter in Luke 22:31, …”Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon (Peter), that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” Despite our failures He still wants us!! When, not if, we fail do not fall away… come back stronger!! I pray for the Truth and mighty love of Jesus to be the loudest thing in my head.
