Like A Submarine

This is what the LORD Almighty says: “The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah as well.  All their captors hold them fast, refusing to let them go. Yet their Redeemer is strong; the LORD Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land, but unrest to those who live in Babylon. Jeremiah 50:33-34

The oppression against you may feel strong, YET your Redeemer is strongER!!!! Think of a submarine… why does it not crush in deep water? Because the pressure within is greater than the pressure without. 1 John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

The arrogant one will stumble and fall and no one will help her up… Jeremiah 50:32 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 1 Cor. 1:26-27 We think, God, You are mighty brave to pick me, I’ve got nothing! He says, I know, but you got Me, and that’s all you need. Are we expecting more than a casual encounter with God today? Are we willing to step out in faith knowing He will never leave us?

Daniel 1:8 starts with, But Daniel… and verse 9 starts with, Now God… Daniel took a step in faith first, then God did His part. We can trust Him, He is faithful, and when we misstep, He is forgiving (Jer. 50:20). Jeremiah 50:5, 7 says, They will come and bind themselves to the LORD – the LORD, their true pasture

Live like you know He is strongER, bind yourself to Him, He is your true pasture! If He is brave enough to pick you, then be brave enough to walk with Him in faith one step at a time. Like a submarine, the pressure of Him within you is greater than any oppression without.
