This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and the stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar – the LORD Almighty is his name… Jeremiah 31:35
The Lord Almighty is His name so whom or what shall we fear?!!! (Psalm 27:1) Trust God, do not give way to fear. Though you can be hurt, people can not harm you.
1 Peter 3:13-14 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.
In Jesus we serve Him who is greater than anything of this world (1 John 4:4) and this world is not our home (1 Peter 2:11) we are just passing through, it is but a breath in the scape of eternal life. He renews our strength and beckons us to Himself morning by morning. In Ezekiel 46:13-15 it repeats the phrase “morning by morning” three times and begins with “Every day”. Psalm 5:3 says, In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
We look forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. (Hebrews 11:10) Therefore do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2 Cor. 4:16 He will never leave nor forsake you (Deut. 31:6) The Almighty goes with you, the One who with mere words makes the sun shine and brings out the moon and stars, the same One who stirs up the sea, calms it too! (Matt. 8:27)
He gives us armor to prepare us for our days… see Eph. 6:10-18. What area is not covered by armor? The back! Why do you think? Probably because He did not design us to run away with our backs toward our fear! Fear is not from God. (2 Tim 1:7) When lions hunt, the old weak one does the scary roaring. The prey runs away from that roar right into the trap of strong lions that devour them! If the prey had run toward the roar they would have been preserved against the F.alse E.vidence A.ppearing R.eal! The devil prowls around like a roaring lion hoping to devour you. (1 Peter 5:8) Don’t let him! Suit up and run toward the roar in Jesus name if He has called you out!
If He’s got the wind and the waves, the stars, sun and moon under control I know He’s able to handle me and my day and yours too at the very same time – lets trust the One who loved us enough to conquered death to bring us to Himself. Lets go to Him morning by morning and all the time in between; He’s got this!
