A “rainbow” painted just for you: Pearls And Pigs – Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Matt. 7:6

As a believer in Jesus as your personal Savior you have a precious, indestructible treasure within you! You hold the eternal Truth that the world craves! Our God desires for everyone to hold this treasure of Him within them so it is the job of those who know Him to share Him!

Do you ever remember certain special items in your home growing up that you had to ask an adult’s help with? Maybe it was setting up a record… or turning the key on a priceless heirloom music box… You knew that item was special and it was a privilege to get to treat it with the utmost care. The treasure of God within you is beyond priceless, yet is a free gift to all! We have each been given gifts and talents to share that reflect His glory to the world. We are told to give freely as freely we have received. How do we determine just who will value such a treasure as a privilege to hold and receive since it’s available so freely?

Aren’t you glad it’s really not up to us to do the judging!! Matt. 7:1 right off reminds us we are NOT the judge! We are told to love everyone and we are also told to ask for wisdom and it will also be freely given in generous amounts! Matt. 7:7 encourages us to ask, seek and knock and we will find!

God gives us life so that He can bring fruit from them as we remain in Him. He desires for our lives to be effective for His Kingdom. If we are not sure if we are serving in the right area or arena or at the right time or in the correct way… ask, seek and knock continually until you have His direction! He will not hide from you but He is after an intimate relationship with each of us so if our question keeps us close to Him then we are getting an answer above and beyond what we even imagined!

Don’t give up seeking His face in all things. He knows the value of the treasure within you… and though we were all just pigs before receiving Jesus, we are now made priceless pearls with abundant treasure to share! Until the hearts of people are ready they will not receive the pearls we have, so fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith and He will faithfully lead you to where He needs you to share your “pearls” to His glory, for such a time as this.
