A “rainbow” painted just for you: For Who’s Sake?! – For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations. Isaiah 61:11 NIV

Genesis 1:11 indicates that God took the dirt that was already there and produced fruitfulness! So what “dirt” is already existent in your life? If God brought fruitfulness out of dirt once, He can most certainly do it again dear one!

Let’s jump forward to Genesis 39:5, From the day Joseph was put in charge of his master’s household and property, the LORD began to bless Potiphar’s household for Joseph’s sake. All his household affairs ran smoothly, and his crops and livestock flourished. For who’s sake was God blessing Potifar? JOSEPH’s!! Do we recognize what God has done for OUR sakes?! We were dead in our sin and by God’s amazing grace He saved us from going down into the dirt in death eternally! The blood of Jesus cleanses us from the dirtiness of sin and makes us white as snow!! Blessing upon blessing for those who believe!

In Genesis 39 God was bringing blessing to Egypt by way of Joseph. Do you have an “Egypt” that God has brought blessing to by way of someone else? Have we said, “thank you”? Am I willing to allow God to use my “dirt” to bring forth fruitfulness or blessing for someone else’s sake? God walked through the tomb in the dirt for our sake. In Jesus no one gets left in the dirt; all seeds pushed under the dirt sprout up better, stronger, more beautiful… let God use your dirt for His sake.
