A “rainbow” painted just for you: Hope On Every Page – …”God has made me fruitful in the land of my grief.” Genesis 41:52

Numbers 21:4-9 finds a group of impatient people grumbling and complaining against God. Maybe if we are honest we could fit right in that group at times! When we ourselves are treated with this poor and ungrateful attitude by others we do not appreciate it do we?! Yet how often do we disregard God’s perfect provision and love for us, His precious promises and His faithful presence? Our perfect Creator God Almighty who’s ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours does not deserve or appreciate this attitude either. So in Numbers God handed them over to their own complaints – they did not approve of His protection so He backed it off and then what happened?! Deadly snakes invaded their camp! BUT wait what did our amazingly gracious God do?! He even still provided a way of rescue!! Anyone who wanted to look at the bronze snake lifted up by Moses would be saved/healed of the deadly snake bites!

John 3:13-14 reports Jesus telling us in a sense, no matter where we have been, what we have been through or how poorly we have behaved there is still hope, there is still unfailing love in His forgiving heart for all of us who would repent of evil ways and look up to Him! Jesus was lifted up on a cross. He offered Himself as a sacrifice to pay the debt for ALL the world’s sin, past, present and future!! Death, sin, the devil… no evil could keep Him and He rose again victorious over all! Anyone who believes in the living Savior of the world, Jesus Christ WILL be saved!

Don’t forget Who loves you… Don’t forget His power is over all oppression, depression, plagues, illness, heartbreak, tragedy… there is no page of your life He cannot write “Living Hope” across. Dear one, do you believe this?! To quote my dad, “Christ is to be lifted up so that all who labor and are heavy laden can see Him and come to rest in his salvation because He still loves us always and forever.” That’s hope. That’s hope always and forever on every page of your life. Now lift Him high with how you choose to LIVE.
